The perfect holiday read? Cut Limbo FREE on Kindle. (again)

Yes, the perfect holiday read, that’s what my old mate Dan said in his review of Cut Limbo and of course I couldn’t be happier.

Here’s exactly what Dan’s 5 star review said: The perfect holiday read: Some genuine laugh out loud moments with some genuine emotion thrown in too – recommend this for a light-hearted holiday read.

The perfect holiday read, not Kafka, Cut Limbo

We don’t really want Kafka or Dostoyevski when we are sitting in the sun with a hangover do we? OK, most people don’t. Holidays are for taking it easy, right?

What we want is a mad romp around the red light district of Amsterdam, being chased by huge, strung out Russian mob psychos, followed by a very dramatic escape followed by further mayhem and hilarity coping with the culture shock of the Philippines. All that Third World sensitivity and those strong traditional Catholic values aren’t easy to cope with after a decade of drug dealing on the streets of Amsterdam! Luckily things eventually calm down just a little for Panky, but then, the Russians arrive and the brown stuff really hits the fan!

Cut Limbo: The perfect holiday read

What makes Cut Limbo the perfect holiday read? Here’s another more recent review.

TJ Lundy said: Thrilling and hilarious. Take a Sid Vicious like character, give him a heart and sense of humor, throw him in with a bunch of characters like from the movie, “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”, put them all in Amsterdam and the Philippines, and you’ve got the hilarious and thrilling book, “Cut Limbo.” It’s a wild ride and great story.

I hadn’t thought of Panky being like Sid Vicious, as Cut Limbo explains, he actually looks a bit like Colin Farrell, but I guess because so many of his characteristics are so punk, the Sid angle makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the thought TJ!

The perfect holiday read, Cut Limbo

Cut Limbo may be light hearted and full of Laugh Out Loud moments, but it does have a sensitive side too.

Blue’s Amazon review  said: The author creates an intense believable world with three dimensional characters. When I got done reading it, I felt sated. This is no quickly thrown together story, it’s a true novel. As an added treat, I love how music is worked into the story. Great soundtrack! (If you haven’t heard the soundtrack CHECK IT OUT NOW!)

I love the different ways, different reviewers look at Cut Limbo, it’s real eye-opener to me and an inspiration!

My 1st 5 star Amazon review from Molosser said:  I loved it, having spent time in both Amsterdam and the Philippines some years ago, it brought back fond memories of both places. A fast paced, laugh out loud funny, rollercoaster ride through Pankys eyes (glazed i imagine) .There were moments i feared he would n’t make it past the next few pages with all the drugs and booze, not to mention the Russian mob on his tail. I liked the detailed description of people(often very funny) and places which painted a picture in the minds eye that set the scene well,I read the book over a weekend, mainly because it kept me interested and i wanted to know the outcome of the unfolding events. all in all a good fun read with a good ending.
